Order Cancellations

You may choose to cancel an order, prior to fulfillment of the sale. We request that you advise on your decision as soon as possible by writing to us at contact@philiplako.com

Once we received the cancellation request, you will be refunded the full cost of the book/order (s). Refunds will be paid into the account used to place the order processed via the same method used to pay for the order (for example, if payment was made through credit card, the refunds will be paid into the same credit card).

In the event the request to cancel the order is received after the item(s) have been dispatched to the customer, a credit or refund will only be processed once the item(s) have been returned to the store. The refund will be in full minus the postage and handling cost.

We do not permit the return of items purchased from different platforms. We will refund items or books purchased directly from Philip Lako, associated representatives or online from www.philiplako.com. Books purchased from vendors or retailers must only be returned to the vendor the purchased was made and any cancellation request must be made through the vendor or stores.

Returns - Damaged Books

We grantee new items/books purchased will arrive in excellent condition. If the items arrived in undesirable condition and therefore not completely satisfied with the product, we request that you contact us within 7 days of receiving the item (s). Upon receipt of the item (s), we will response and we will ask for your preference. We will also ask whether you prefer total a refund, issue credit or replace the item (s). In addition, for damaged books returns a ‘reply paid’ address label for sending the book back to us will be provided to ensure that you do not incur postage costs.

Instructions for returning books

To facilitate the refund process, when returning item (s) to us, please provide the reason for your return. Unfortunately, a refund, credit or replacement will only be provided when we received the goods with evidence of purchase (e.g. receipt, sales confirmation). We strongly recommend that you send your return via insured parcel post. And please note, postage paid by you is not refundable. Only books damaged during handling and postage will be refunded.
